"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we
give." Winston Churchill
" The measure of life is not its duration, but
its donation." Corrie Ten Boom
Norman Pickell's philosophy is
that we should be doing things for other
people - whether it be in our own community or half way around the world. Some
of us can volunteer our time; others can give money and other tangibles to
charitable organizations.
There are literally thousands of charitable organizations throughout the
world. Norman cannot possibly list even a good representation of them on this
site. Therefore, what follows is but a sampling - including ones that have
special meaning for Norman and his family.
