Who We Are

Norman Pickell, a lawyer, mediator and arbitrator, founded the Firm in 1981. Prior to that Norman practiced law with another law firm after being called to the Bar in 1974. As a lawyer, Norman's preferred areas of practice are real estate, wills and estate planning, powers of attorney, elder law, estate administration, and business and corporate law. As a mediator, Norman has experience mediating various types of conflict. Likewise, as an arbitrator, Norman can handle a wide range of disputes. Leah Noël, a lawyer since 2001, joined the Firm in September 2007. Prior to joining the Firm, she gained valuable experience in larger law firms in Southwestern Ontario. Leah's areas of practice are real estate, business and corporate law, wills and estate planning, powers of attorney, elder law, estate administration, and landlord and tenant issues.
